Senior LODGE Manager Wanted – Lead the Way in Luxury Safari!
Kendrick Recruitment is thrilled to be on the hunt for a Senior LODGE Manager for an exclusive luxury lodge in FREE STATE If you’ve got the skills to manage an intimate, world-class safari experience and have a passion for both guest relations and high-level operations, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing the general operations of the lodge, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and on the front line.
- Managing the food & beverage operations to maintain the lodge’s high standards.
- Guest relations – making sure every guest has an unforgettable safari experience.
- Ensuring housekeeping and maintenance are up to five-star standards .
- Leading and training lodge staff , fostering a positive, high-performance team.
- Handling administrative duties to keep things running seamlessly.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Lodge Manager Certificate or relevant hospitality qualification and at least 5 years of experience in a luxury lodge management role.
- Strong organisational, managerial, and administrative skills .
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for guest service .
- Solid experience with food and beverage management .
- First Aid Certificate and a Driver’s Licence .
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- A service-oriented mindset with a commitment to five-star standards .

- Onboarding process lasting 3-8 months with classic day shifts during training.
- Once fully onboarded, enjoy a hybrid work setup – 3 days in the office (Tues & Wed mandatory) and 2 days at home (if Wi-Fi allows).
- Emergency phone duty is rotated within the team, with weekends and public holidays covered for reservations.
